Gaming Goals for the New Year – January 2015 UPDATE

It’s hard to believe that one month of this year has already flown on by, but it has. January is never really a great gaming month for me. I usually peak later in the year for some reason. Probably because I have more time, but anyway I was able to make some progress on my goals for the year. Here’s how the month played out for me.

2015 Gaming Goals

Have 50 Platinum Trophies by the end of the year
– Starting # of Platinum Trophies: 33
– Ending # of Platinum Trophies: 34
The 1 platinum this month is kind of disappointing, but Dragon Age: Inquisition on Nightmare is giving me a hell of a time. Stuck at a point of no return in my current playthrough I’m going to have to start all over again. Using my worst Keep data as well as my asshole mage probably wasn’t the best idea for Nightmare difficulty.

Have 6,000 overall Trophies
– Starting # of Trophies: 4,498
– Ending # of Trophies: 4,561
Overall this month wasn’t all that bad on the trophy front. I racked up a decent amount of trophies and I’m pretty happy with my progress so far.

Have a total completion rate of 60%
– Starting Completion Rate: 47.17%
– Ending Completion Rate: 47.37%
Seeing that I added a few new games to my catalog this month that I haven’t finished or even got any trophies in, this really isn’t that bad. Once I start finishing some games to the 100% mark this number will go up.

Complete 75 games at 100%
– Starting # of Games 100% Complete: 60
– Ending # of Games 100% Complete: 62
At least I was able to finish two whole games this month to 100% which made me pretty damn pleased with myself.

Stop Pre-Ordering Ubisoft games!
– Starting # of Ubisoft Games Pre-Ordered: 0
– Ending # of Ubisoft Games Pre-Ordered: 0
Yes! Total win this month as I had absolutely no urge to pre-order anything from Ubisoft!

Last month was a little lack luster and I was kind of feeling it. I’m looking forward to this month though gaming wise. I’ve got a couple of games that I’ve been waiting to play that I’ll hopefully be getting to and I’m really really hoping that I get that Dragon Age: Inquisition platinum this month.
