Weekly Trophy Tip – The Sims 3 – Not Dead Yet

This week’s trophy tip comes courtesy of The Sims 3 for the PS3. Not Dead Yet is a pretty simple trophy to get since you really just have to play the game, but it does require you to have a few things in order to get it. So let’s get you this trophy!

The Sims 3 – Not Dead Yet
Resurrect a Sim – Bronze
TIP: In order to get this trophy you need two things. You need the Divine Intervention Karma power and a dead Sim that you haven’t sent to the beyond yet. Your Sim’s life will usually last around 100 Sim days if you play the game right and once they die the spirit will stick around until you send it away. If you’re going for this trophy don’t send it away. Keep it around your Sim house so that you can use the Divine Intervention Karma on it.

Now in order to unlock the Divine Intervention Karma power, you have to spend your well earned Challenge points to unlock this power. You’ll need a total of 150 challenge points to unlock this so make sure you’re completing as many challenges as possible. Once you purchase this karma power make sure you have 75 karma points in order to use this on your dead Sim.

EXTRA TIP!: So this is if you want to just get this trophy and you don’t want to wait until your Sim naturally dies. You can always kill your Sim in one of the various different ways. Leave them in a pool without a ladder and no way to get out, set the house on fire, or any other way this game allows you to kill your Sim. Do this and then use the Divine Intervention Karma power on the Sim’s spirit. Instant trophy without having to wait for your Sim to live a full life. Now you have a brand new trophy, but at what cost! The cost of a Sim’s life. That’s the cost.

Have anything additional to add to my tip? Let me know in the comments section below and I’ll add it in and give you credit. Need help with a specific trophy? I’m always looking for my next weeks tip so throw out some suggestions in the comments section. If I have the trophy I’ll post a tip on how to get it.
