Weekly Trophy Tip – Fallout 4 – Sanctuary

It’s been a while since I’ve had a weekly trophy tip, but this week it makes its return with a tip for the newly released Fallout 4. While Fallout 4 is filled with trophies, this one is pretty simple and can be done early on in the game. This trophy involves one of my favorite game activities which just happens to be crafting. So let’s get you this trophy.

Fallout 4 – Sanctuary
Complete “Sanctuary” – Bronze
TIP: Once you finish the quest “When Freedom Calls” you’ll be given the option to join the Minutemen. Make sure that you join them, you’ll get an extra trophy just for doing so, and then you’ll be told to meet up with the remaining group in Sanctuary. Sanctuary is your characters old town before everything went to hell. Anyway, once you travel back to Sanctuary, in order to begin the actual quest make sure you talk to Sturges. Once you talk to Sturges you’ll be given the quest called “Sanctuary.” This quest is basically a tutorial on how to use the crafting system and should not be ignored. You’ll have to do the following tasks.

Task #1: Craft 4 beds for people to sleep in.
Head over to the crafting table to begin. You can find the materials you need scattered around Sanctuary in order to make the beds. While in the crafting section of the game you can openly move around Sanctuary and destroy things that you no longer need i.e. ruined houses, cars, wood, and other materials. You’ll want to do this so that you have enough of everything to craft what you’re going to need. Placement of the beds isn’t really a problem at the moment so you can just craft four beds and place them anywhere. If you want to be more specific you can go ahead and walk around seeing where you want to place each and every bed.

Task #2: Build 2 Water Pumps
If you’ve been scavenging, which you should be because this is Fallout, you should have the material to use the crafting system and build two basic water pumps. Go ahead and place them around town and you’ll be done with task number 2.

Task #3: Provide food for the people of Sanctuary
In order to do this you’re going to need to harvest some food that you find during your travels. When you go to other settlements you can grab a couple of their crops and there are even some spare crops hanging around Sanctuary for you to grab. Once you have the same amount of crops as there is settlers, go ahead and start planting them. Once again you can plant them anywhere just as long as they are planted.

Task #4: Build defenses
This is your final task for the Sanctuary settlement. For this you’ll have to build a couple of defense towers and it’s also good to place a couple of turrets around town to keep the people of Sanctuary safe. If you’ve been collecting things on your travels or if you’ve been deconstructing some of the items around Sanctuary you’ll have what you need. Find a strategic location to place the defenses and you’re all done.

Make sure you talk to Sturges after completing each task so that he can go ahead and give you the next one. After completing all the tasks you’ll not only feel better that you’ve helped these poor people of Sanctuary, you’ll also have a brand new trophy.

Have anything additional to add to my tip? Let me know in the comments section below and I’ll add it in and give you credit. Need help with a specific trophy? I’m always looking for my next weeks tip so throw out some suggestions in the comments section. If I have the trophy I’ll post a tip on how to get it.
