Most Anticipated Game for January 2016

A full year of gaming has come and gone and it’s now time to move on to a new year which, if E3 had anything to say about it, should actually be a pretty good year for gamers. While I stocked up on a bunch of games, and I mean a bunch of games, during the holiday sales, I’m still eager to see what January has in store for us gamers so let’s take a look.

*Just as a side note, my list of January releases is not perfect. There might be some missing, or some dates may change. If you have anything you want to add feel free to let me know in the comments and I’ll include it in the list.*

1/05/2015
Nitro+ Blazerz – Heroines Infinite Duel – PS4

1/19/2015
Life is Strange – PS4
Resident Evil: Origins Collection – PS4
Lichdom: Battlemage – PS4

1/26/2015
LEGO: Marvel’s Avengers – PS4 / PS3 / PS Vita

And that’s it for January. It’s a slow month, but the first new month of the year usually is so it isn’t something unusual. While I am a LEGO fan, those games just aren’t day one purchases for me. With my backlog growing by a lot these past couple of weeks, I’m going to stick to playing some games that I already have.

Now it’s your turn. Will you be picking any of these games up this month of are you still hungover from all the sales that went on during the holidays and working on your backlog like me? Let me know in the comments section below.

  1. Only games I’m looking forward to in January is Resident Evil 0 for PC, Dragon’s Dogma for PC, and Blade and Soul.

    • I’ve heard good things about Dragon’s Dogma. I haven’t gotten the chance to play it yet as it sits on my backlog list, but hopefully I’ll get to it soon.

      • Dragon’s Dogma is alright. It’s missing a lot of minor things that RPGs should have, but it has fun gameplay.

      • I guess. The game got pretty stale for me after my first playthrough. It has a Monster Hunter feel to it. All you really do is accept random missions and go hunting monsters. The story is pretty meh and I thought the pawns were annoying. That’s just my opinion though.
