Most Anticipated Game for March 2016

Another month has gone by, already, and while it did have some pretty decent game releases, nothing really caught my eye so that I would run out and pre-order something. So how does the gaming forecast look for March? Keep reading to find out.

And..that’s…it? A pretty bland month if you ask me, although I know a lot of you are anticipating Tom Clancy’s The Division and Hitman. While I’ve played Hitman a few times in the past, I’m not really a fan of the overall game and I’ve never played a Tom Clancy game before, which is why nothing here at all catches my interest except maybe Republique, but that’s not a day one purchase for me. I thought that Alekhine’s Gun was supposed to come out in February, but I guess that was delayed. I still have a huge backlog of games to try and get through with my crazy schedule anyway, so I’m not complaining.

Just because I’m not buying any of these games day one, doesn’t mean that I won’t buy them at all, so here’s my running list of games that I’ll be looking for during the holiday sales this year:
• LEGO: Marvel’s Avengers
• Alekhine’s Gun
• Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
• Far Cry Primal
• Republique

Now as always it’s your turn. Will you be picking up any of these games day one? If so, which ones will you be picking up? Let me know in the comments section below.

    • I’d like to play some of the sports games that come out, but with my backlog being so huge I feel like by the time I get to playing that game the next one will already be out and it will be pointless.

      • Yup. The yearly cycle with sports game would work better as two yearly (except the devs not getting their money).

      • Well of course the sports games are done yearly for the money, I really don’t see much of a change from game to game anyway expect roster changes and if you think about it, those could actually be done with patches if the makers of these games supported them for more then a year.

      • Yup. Roster updates via patches and a ‘new’ title once two years would give the devs the option to put meaningful features that could be worked on properly.

    • It’s a pretty bland month, but things should be picking up for the rest of the year. The next game I’m looking forward to is Uncharted 4.
