As another month quickly approaches, I really can’t believe it’s going to be July already, it brings us one month closer to the start of gaming season. Those few months that we get a bunch of huge new releases and no one has any money left in their wallet afterwards. While there is still some time to save, there might be a couple of good looking games coming up in July, so let’s take a look.
*Just as a side note, my list of July releases is not perfect. There might be some missing, or some dates may change. If you have anything you want to add feel free to let me know in the comments and I’ll include it in the list.*
07/05/2016
Carmageddon: Max Damage – PS4
Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII – PS4
Rocket League – PS4
07/12/2016
Ghostbusters – PS4
07/26/2016
Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force – PS4
Batman: Return to Arkham – PS4
Valentino Rossi: The Game – PS4
Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fotrune an Dice of Fate – PS Vita
So yeah, that’s it for this upcoming month. Not a whole lot to choose from, but at least it’s something. While I am interested in the new Ghostbusters game, I’ll be holding off on that one for the holiday season when I expect it to be on sale for a very low low price. Other than that, I can’t say that anything else on here interests me especially since I’ve already played Rocket League. If you’re thinking about picking up Rocket League, you can read my review of it here. Luckily for me I’ll be spending another month on my backlog, but I will be adding a game to my holiday list.
Here’s my running list of games that I’ll be looking for during holiday sale time, as I try not to be tempted and pick them up before holiday sale time.
• LEGO: Marvel’s Avengers
• Alekhine’s Gun
• Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
• Far Cry Primal
• Republique
• Tom Clancy’s: The Division
• Tales from the Borderlands – PS3
• Overwatch
• Dead Island Definitive Collection
• Ghostbusters
Now it’s your turn, let me know in the comments section if you’ll be picking anything up this month. Maybe there’s a hidden gem of a game in there somewhere. If not and you’re going to be working on your backlog, like me, let me know which games you’re currently working on. I always like hearing about what everyone’s playing.
None of those games even remotely interest me :]. I played through The Technomancer a few days ago and it was fun. I guess that’ll have to hold me off until something interesting releases this year. It seems like all the good stuff has already released in my opinion. Let me know how you like Far Cry Primal when you get it. I have yet to play it.
For me Far Cry Primal is a long ways off, I won’t get that game until it’s on sale, but I am looking forward to the release of the Skyrim remaster as well as the new South Park game at the end of the year. Until then I’ll probably be working on my backlog.
