Frequently Asked Video Game Questions – Is Treasures of Montezuma Blitz broken?

This was a tough question for me, probably one of the most toughest questions that I’ve had to answer in this Frequently Asked Video Game Questions segment. Why was this question so hard? Mostly because I had to dust off my PS Vita, which I haven’t used since I played Taco Master, charge it, turn it on, only to find out that I had to update the damn thing, and then actually log on to see if this game works. Hard work indeed.

After all that hard work, I can no clearly tell you that Treasures of Montezuma Blitz is not exactly broken, but it’s not fully working anymore either. The lottery type scratch off ticket that you get to play when you first start the game is completely gone, there are no options to purchase anything such as lives and etc. in the Playstation store and there is no longer a leaderboard. The servers for this game seems to either be down or completely shut off. In other news though, if you have lives or gems still left over, the actual game still works. I had 160 lives when I started and then I had to level up to the next level to see if I gained more lives. When I moved up from level 68 to 69, insert 69 joke here, I did not get any more lives just more gems. I’m guessing that this means that once you run out of lives you’re basically done.

The moral of the story is that if you have lives left on this game, I would just get it over with and play the game until you run out of lives. I’ll keep checking to see if the servers are actually down or off and try to update this question when I get more information.
