Things for me kind of went back to normal after a string of basically weird weeks. I guess they all can’t be weird, which of course is a good thing because I’ll take normal when I can get it. Anyway, this week I continued to play some games that I’ve been playing while also finding a game to replace Mass Effect since I’ve finished all three games. I know I have to go back to the first one and get the platinum, but that will be done at a later time. Here’s how my trophy week went.
FEZ – 33%
This was the game that I decided to replace my Mass Effect binge day with. What’s now my FEZ binge day, this is one of the games that was on my list of games that needed to be completed. I figured I needed something a little lighter after tackling all three Mass Effect games and this is going to do just fine for me. While I’ve played this game before, I decided to start fresh and so far I’m enjoying getting back into this game.
Prison Architect: PlayStation 4 Edition – 70%
While I finished the story, I’m now working on cleaning up the rest of the trophies in Sandbox mode before having to go back and collect some snapshots that I missed along the way. I’m still enjoying the game and I think this time I finally was able to get my prison just how I wanted it. Now I just have to get the platinum for this game.
Ghostbusters – 28%
Playing this game is a real chore and I only played it once this week. I was able to get some trophies for it, but at this point I’m just a little over it. The story just plain sucks for this game and the action part isn’t so great either. This is turning out to be a total waste for me, but I still want to finish it. Maybe I’m missing something and it’s really a great game. I doubt it, but stranger things have happened.
Angry Birds Trilogy – 33%
I played this game one day when I came home from work pissed off. I don’t really know why but by the time I finished playing this game I was even more pissed off than I was when I started. It’s just something about this game that puts you in the worst possible mood ever when you’re done. Anyway, at least I got a trophy out of it.
That was it for this week, next week should be more of the same as I continue to play FEZ, I might even finish it and move onto something else, Prison Architect: PlayStation 4 Edition, Ghostbusters, and probably something else that I don’t even know of yet. I was really really tempted to download Indigo Prophecy since it came out this week, but I don’t know when I’ll find the time or energy to even play at the moment, but I might just break down and get it this week. I’ll let you know how things turned out for me next week.
I’m not much of a achievement whore for my games, but I have gotten about 40 of them on Dark Souls 3. I started playing Fallout 4, again, Starbound, and Street Fighter V. I’ve gotten a few achievements in each game, but I probably won’t go out of my way to get any of them.
Good luck with Ghostbusters… that game is terrible.
Ghostbusters has to be one of the worst games that I’ve played in a while. It’s just…there’s so much wrong with it. It could have been so much more and sadly it isn’t.
I can’t help my love for trophies though. It’s not what makes me buy a game or anything but I do love collecting them. I congratulate you on the Dark Souls 3 achievements, from what I hear that game is extremely hard.
Dark Souls 3 is pretty easy once you learn it. Most people that haven’t played the series think it’s hard. It’s a game that rewards patience and skill over running in like it’s Dynasty Warriors :).
And you’re spot on with Ghostbusters.
Patience and skill are all good things, but sometimes you just have to run around and be a little crazy. 🙂
