I Never Finished…WWE Legends of WrestleMania…Because

WWE Legends of WrestleMania

So while this week’s game was another Blockbuster rental, it wasn’t just some random that that I wanted to rent in order to pass some time. This was a game that I was actually looking forward to. A little known fact about me is that I used to be a huge wrestling fan. HUGE. I watched every single show, went to just about every single event that came to my town, bought merchandise, and played just about every single game that came out. My PS2 collection of games were filled with WWE games. It was a no brainer that I would pick this one up. By why not finish it?

This could have easily been my first platinum trophy, but it wasn’t. The trophy hunting bug till hadn’t bit me at this time and I found this WWE game to be subpar to the games that I was used to playing. This was the first WWE game that I played on my PS3 and I just wasn’t impressed. There was just something about it that I really could never get into and then ended up returning the game within a couple of days. I really had high hopes for this game, but I think this is once again my fault as I didn’t give this game a proper chance to let it develop.

As you can see from the picture above, I only got 2of the 20 trophies available for this game. Looking over the trophy list now, I can see that these are extremely easy trophies. Extremely easy. All you really had to do was play the game and you would get these trophies eventually. There is nothing remotely hard about this trophy list at all.

Probability of this game getting played again…3 out of 5.

I did some digging this time around and found out that this game is extremely cheap on eBay. It was a boring day at work and I figured I might as well use it for some very important research. For some reason I’ve got that itch to play a WWE game again so this is a huge possibility. Will this itch last, I’m not sure, but for now it’s there and the temptation to get this game and finish it once and for all is also there. Keep watching my weekly This Week in Trophies blog to actually see if I went ahead and bought this game to finish it up.

Now it’s your turn. Are you like me and maybe you rented this game from Blockbuster, kept it out a short while, and then returned it before you even had the chance to play the game? Maybe you were a fellow WWE game fan and this one didn’t stand up to the other standards that previous WWE games set. Maybe you played the whole game through and through and even have the platinum trophy for it. Let me know in the comments section below. For next week, a little change up because while I originally rented this game from…you guessed it, Blockbuster, I also bought this game later on and it’s currently sitting in my game sleeve. It’s Wanted for the PS3.
