I Never Finished…Wanted: Weapons of Fate…Because…

Wanted: Weapons of Fate

So I will admit that yes this is another Blockbuster rental game, but there’s a twist. I actually own this game and it’s sitting in my game sleeve at this very moment. I originally picked up this game because I was a huge fan of the movie. Huge. Angelina Jolie was still super-hot, the movie had an awesome story line, and Morgan Freeman is in it. I mean, how could you not like this movie or want to play any kind of game that was associated with it?

Picking up five years after the movie, you play as Wesley Gibson. He’s continuing to transform into a full fledged assassin and is also the heir to the secret fraternity of assassins. That was about as far as I actually got into the game. It’s not that I didn’t like the game, I didn’t really give it all that much of a chance to not like it. It was just that I got stuck at this one part and was in this never ending loop of not doing what the game wanted me to do to the point that I was about to throw the disc out the window. Why did I eventually buy this game then if I returned it only a few days after playing? It was during this time where I went through a little binge of buying a bunch of used games at a really great price and this one just happened to be one of them.

As you can see, I only got 5 of the 51 trophies this game as to offer. Two of them were for the tutorial, two of them were due to stacking and completing the first act, and the third was some random trophy. Not one of my proudest gaming moments here. I mean seriously, I hated that there was this time that I just played game after game searching for one that held my attention and just couldn’t seem to find it. It makes me think that I wasn’t the actual gamer that I am today, but that’s a different story.

Probability of this game getting played again…3 out of 5.

I mean, I already own the game, as you can see from the picture below, and it’s on my list of games to finish for the year. So there’s a pretty good chance that I will actually get back to playing this since I don’t have to go out and actually buy the game. I already own it.

Wanted: Weapons of Fate

Now it’s your turn. Do you also own this game and it’s sitting in some game sleeve or even in it’s original casing hidden under a pile of other games? Maybe you have the platinum trophy for this game and can make a case for me that this is the next game that I have to play because I’m totally missing out. Let me know in the comments section below and as for next week, another Blockbuster rental. This one though was different. I kept this game out for months as I tried to do everything the game had to offer and probably got the most trophies from this game than any other rental game. Come to think of it, if I tried hard enough this could have been my first platinum, it’s The Godfather II.
