As you might already realize, I never learn because here it is another I Never Finished blog featuring a sports game. I swear on my PS2 that I played these games all the time and just loved them, I have no idea what happened when I made the switch to the PS3. Anyway, here’s why I never finished MLB 10 The Show.
I played this game so long ago and not for very long that I have no idea what this game was even about or anything. I only thing I know for sure about this game is that it was a baseball game. MLB is baseball right? I don’t remember what kind of modes it had or anything, all I know is that it wasn’t like the ones that I fell in love with on my PS2. Another strike out when it came to sports games.
As you can see from the very horrible picture above I didn’t even get any of the trophies this game had to offer. While there are some “common” trophies this game has to offer, it looks like a lot of people are in the same boat that I’m in because there are a bunch of “rare” to “ultra-rare” trophies for this game.
Probability of this game getting played again…0 out of 5.
Complete shocker right? You were probably reading thinking that I was going to be playing this game in the very near future, seeing as how I loved it so much only to see that I have no desire to ever play this game again. You can probably tell that this was a rental from Blockbuster and that I don’t even own this game. This will be one of those games forever stuck at 0%. I know there is the option to delete this game from my gaming history and make it like it never existed, but I’m not really into doing that. I clearly made a mistake playing this game and that’s ok.
Now it’s your turn. Did anyone even play this game or was it something that was totally overlooked? Maybe it was one of the best MLB games that you’ve ever played. Maybe you have the platinum trophy for this game. If you do though I’m going to need a screen shot or something to believe you. I’m always interested to hear what you guys have to say so feel free to let me know in the comments section below. Now for next week, another game that I finished, but didn’t. I of course completed the game from start to finish but I never got all of the trophies making it incomplete. I’ll let you know why I never finished God of War III next week.

Some times games we enjoy as kids are worse as adults. I’ve had that experience quite a few times. I used to play Morrowind all the time on the original Xbox and now I can’t touch. It’s aged horribly, it controls like shit, and not even 1,000 mods can make it better.
That’s very true. I’ve had that experience with more than one game, but then there are just some games that no matter how old they are I can play them over and over again no matter how badly they age.
Super Mario World is one of those games that never gets old for me :).
That and the original Legend of Zelda.
My favorite LoZ game is Ocarina of Time, but the original LoZ is really good too.
