I Never Finished…Jet Set Radio…Because

Jet Set Radio

Trying to make good use out of my newly purchased PS Vita, I was trying to play anything and everything possible for this system because I paid a decent amount of money for it and the games were free so I might as well take advantage of them. Jet Set Radio was my next free game that I downloaded and it’s also the next game that’s on this list. Keep reading to find out why I never finished it.

Originally released for the Dreamcast, if you can believe it, the PS Vita version was a remaster of the original. Basically what you did I this game was rollerblade around town and graffiti whatever you could in the amount of time given. That’s basically it, at least I think it is because I could never even get past the tutorial.

So yeah, basically I couldn’t get past the tutorial and gave up on the game. I really hate admitting that because I’m a good gamer. I swear I am! Anyway, I felt like the controls on the PS Vita were wonky and I really couldn’t do what they were asking me to do so after failing the tutorial over and over and over again I just said the hell with it and basically gave up. There’s not much more to it.

Unlike other games I didn’t finish, I was at least able to get 2 out of the 9 trophies this game has to offer. There’s a little pat on the back for myself. If I could have gotten passed the tutorial I would have had three trophies. Even if I did pass the tutorial I’m not sure I would have finished this game. Anyway, I’ll take my two trophies and move on especially since the rest of the trophies range from rare to ultra-rare.

Probability of this game getting played again…0 out of 5.

I really have no desire to ever play this game again. I mean come on I couldn’t even get passed the tutorial stage! That really sucks and it’s kind of a kick in the ass so this one can stay in my PS Vita library and just sit there. This is a lesson learned though because it made me realize that if you can’t even beat the tutorial, you really have no business playing at all.

Now it’s your turn. Did you play this game on the PS Vita because you got it for free or did you pay the full $9.99 for this game. Did you get passed the tutorial? Or even better, did you play this on the Dreamcast? Let me know in the comments section below as next week I’ll take another quick trip down memory lane with my PS3 and let you know why I never finished another game on there. It was a free game, but one that I just had to play (at least that’s what someone told me). My I never finished…because blogs usually start like this, so I’ll let you know why I never finished Darksiders.
