I Never Finished…Foosball 2012…Because (PS Vita)

Foosball 2012

This was one of those free games that I got because of PS+ once again. There was a little catch with this one though, not only was the PS Vita version of this game free, but so was the PS3 version. I figured that this was great because if I enjoyed one, I would probably enjoy the other. Like every game that ends up on this list, this one also went unfinished. Keep reading to find out why.

There basically isn’t a story to this game. It’s a sports game, so at the time there weren’t really stories with them. You picked your team and you played. It’s really as simple as that. There were different modes for this game from world tours to online mode. The world tours was my favorite because you started off easy then went to harder and harder matches. Not a bad game, especially when it was free.

I really enjoyed this game and had a fun time playing. I couldn’t find anything wrong with this game and when I wasn’t playing on my PS3, I was totally hooked on this game. Being an “old school” foosball player. Anyplace that had a foosball table or air hockey table was where I was at when I was younger, I really enjoyed this digital version of the game. So why did it go unfinished? A really stupid reason actually. My friend at the time didn’t have a PS Vita, only a PS3 and she wanted to play with someone on the PS3, so I dropped my PS Vita version of this game and played on the PS3 instead. I don’t have to tell you, but that game also became unfinished and will make its appearance on this list shortly.

As you can see, I was able to get 3 of the 12 trophies for this game. The game really isn’t that hard, but it’s just time consuming and if you’re into it all of the trophies are really possible except for one luck based one. If you play this game enough though and hone your skills, this trophy list shouldn’t be a problem. While I’m not OK with only getting 3 trophies, it’ll have to do.

Probability of this game getting played again…3 out of 5.

Even though I never picked up my PS Vita that much anymore, I have way too many games and no time to actually play each and every one of them, I would like to eventually play this game again. Since I usually use my PS Vita during hurricane blackouts, I guess we’ll have to wait until the next hurricane season to get his game installed on my Vita and play once more. Not that I’m looking forward to another hurricane or anything, believe me two in the past two years was totally enough.

So now it’s your turn. Did you also play this game on your PS Vita or did you play on the PS3? Love it? Hate it? Think it was a waste of time? Let me know in the comments section below and for next week another game I didn’t finish. Surprised right? Because at the time I was totally in love with my PS Vita, it just happens to be another PS Vita game that was also free. I’m telling you, I have a bunch of games for my PS Vita, and I probably paid for maybe two of them. Anyway, next week I’ll let you know why I never finished Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack.
