This was the time where I had stopped downloading every single PS+ game because it was free and actually looked at the game I was downloading. I made sure that I wanted to play it before downloading it and adding yet another unfinished game onto my list. This was basically because I wanted to prove a point, but that’s not for here. Anyway, I genuinely thought I was going to enjoy this game and so I downloaded it. Unfortunately, it ended up here which means I never finished it.
Labyrinth Legends is about your little nameless character who goes on a mission to find his soon to be bride after she’s kidnaped on your wedding day by an evil mage. Not cool bro…not cool. Anyway, in this puzzle type dungeon crawler, you’ll make your way through level after level trying to find your soon to be wife. Will you find her and live happily ever after? I don’t know because I never finished it.
This simple looking game with its simple looking story is not simple. It’s actually really difficult and had me completely fooled after playing the tutorial. The tutorial makes this game look easy, makes it look like you can complete the whole trophy list within a couple of hours if you really tried, but it’s not. This game is actually really hard and after a few levels of playing and dying over and over again, I just gave up. Now this is embarrassing to say because no one ever wants to admit that their parents are better gamers than they are, but in this one instance, this one instance (!) my dad actually got further in this game than I did. That really bugs me. You’ll see my dad’s name pop up in a few of my blogs from time to time as he tends to stick to simpler games and helps me out with multiplayer stuff time to time and you’ll see me thank LMD, but this time he was better than me.
I hate these games where there are only 10 trophies. Not because there could be more. Games could always have 10 trophies, but it’s the hard games with 10 trophies that make even having only 2 trophies look like you weren’t even trying. That’s right, I was only able to get two trophies out of this game. One for completing the tutorial and one for collecting an item that didn’t have a head. The trophies for this game are the typical ones for these types of games and have you doing random stuff, completing the game, getting all the stars for the levels, and that sort of thing.
Probability of this game getting played again…5 out of 5.
Why is the probability of playing this game again so high? Well it’s still on my PS3 and I should really get to these games because I mean they’re just sitting there. Who am I kidding? I hate that my dad was better than me at this game and I want to finish it since he never did he just got a lot further than me. So will I sacrifice a weekend of not playing something new to finish this game? The answer is yes because unfortunately, one of the things that I learned from my dad was to be super competitive.
Now it’s your turn. Love this game? Hate this game? Know someone who’s better than you and just can’t stand it? Let me know down in the comments section below. Now for next week, a game that I waited ages to play. There were two reasons that I waited so long. One was that this game was full of bugs and glitches and I just wasn’t having it and the second was that I thought that Dragon Age was the superior of the two games. I still think that Dragon Age is superior, but I still decided to give this game a go after I seen this trophy list on my “friends” profile and saw that she was just missing trophies for stupid things and refused to go back to get them. I was like what the hell, I could do that, so I tried to but failed. Next week I’ll let you know why I never finished The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
