This Week in Trophies 02-04-2018 – 02-10-2018

This week was an OK week for trophies. It wasn’t the best week and it wasn’t the worst week either. I did finish a game, progress in a couple of games, and get a little closer to getting a platinum in a game so all in all I’m pretty happy. Here’s a breakdown of my trophies for the week.

Assassin’s Creed Origins – 62%

I finished this game a few weeks back, but I’m still trying to go back and find / complete all of the locations along with a bunch of random trophies. I’m not complaining because the game is good, but my only complaint is the little question marks on the map are ridiculously hard to actually see. I can’t tell you how many times I passed an area on the map only to go back at a later date and discover that I missed a question mark. It’s a little aggravating, but I’m determined to get this platinum trophy.

Assassin's Creed OriginsAssassin's Creed OriginsAssassin's Creed Origins

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – 79%

I’m so close to being done with this game that it’s crazy. I only need three more trophies. One which is easy, the second that I’m close to, and the third that is so far off that it feels like I’m never going to get it. Yes, I’m talking about the trophy for doing 500 bounties. If you thought that the 5,000,000 gold in Diablo III for the PS3 was hard, this is even harder. I want to give a big thank you to my buddy mmaddmaxx12, do me a favor and give him a follow on twitch because he’s cool and he’s awesome at not only Diablo III but also Doom, who helped power level my hardcore character after my first hardcore character died at level 69 which was just an insult.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 – 48%

Damn this game is hard! I have never played a Pac-Man game that was this damn hard. I mean seriously, this is just crazy. So when it comes to this game, I basically play until I get frustrated and call it a day. I can’t complain though because I got the majority of my trophies from this game this week.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – 27%

I finally finished this game, damn it was hard, and I have to say that after all of my bitching about it that it had an amazing ending. I seriously loved it. It was so satisfying and I really couldn’t have asked for a better ending. I know this isn’t the end of Wolfenstein and I’m looking forward to another game. Getting the platinum for this game though is a different story because I couldn’t even beat this game on hard, I had to play on Normal.

Wolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New Colossus

There you have it, 15 trophies for the week. A bit of a step down from last week, but at least it was something. Honestly I didn’t think I would even get this amount of trophies to begin with at the start of the week so I’m not complaining. As for the upcoming week, I have a bunch of stuff going on with work, personal stuff, and a tattoo appointment at the end of the week. I really know how to plan because I make sure that when it rains it pours. Anyway, when I do get a chance to play I’m going to continue playing Assassin’s Creed Origins, Pac-Man Championship Edition 2, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, and I’m going to hopefully start streaming BioShock sporadically. I’ll let you know how things go next week.

This Week in Trophies 01-28-2018 – 02-03-2018

I feel like I made a lot of progress this week as I completed three small games, two of them before the end of the month and one of them at the start of the month. I didn’t think I was going to have all that much time, but it seemed like I did this week and I’m not complaining because next week will be a hell of a week. Anyway, onto my trophies for the week.

Jeopardy – 100%

I finally got the last trophy that I needed for this game this week and I will have my full review of this game posted later on this week.

Jeopardy!

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 – 15%

Damn this game is hard. I mean seriously hard. I was surprised that I even got one trophy for this game this week, but I’ll take it. The PS3 version of this game was super easy compared to this one. I think that no matter how hard I try, I’m not sure if I can even get the platinum for this game at this point.

PAC-MAN CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION 2

UNO – 100%

Another game that I was able to finish this week. I kind of feel like I was on a roll this week! Not wanting to give too much away, I’ll have my review posted for this game next week.

UNOUNOUNOUNO

Wheel of Fortune – 100%

Yet another game that I started this week and even finished. At this point I’m just super surprised. Lately this is extremely rare, but I’ll take it and my review for this game will be out in a few weeks so you can see what I really thought about the game then.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – 21%

This game is seriously just kicking my ass left right and center and I’m not too happy about it. I’m finding it a little difficult to get into this game at the moment and find myself forcing myself to play which is never a good thing. I did turn the difficulty down a little bit, but it still seems way harder than Wolfenstein: The New Order. This is kind of aggravating and makes me rage quit…a lot.

Wolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New Colossus

Not a bad week with 23 trophies, one more than last week. I am happy that I was able to complete three games this past week and for this upcoming week I’ll have a really small streaming schedule where I’ll play Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and in my spare time I’ll continue to try and finish up Assassin’s Creed: Origins as well Doom. I’m not sure about starting a new game since I have a lot on my plate at the moment and if I have some time I might go back to The Sims 4. I’ll let you know how things worked out next week.

This Week in Trophies 01-21-2018 – 01-27-2018

This was a pretty interesting week trophy wise because I played a bunch of games, but it was one of those weeks where I feel like I really didn’t have that much time to play. Maybe it was because a lot of the trophies I got were easy ones, but I just feel like I didn’t devote a bunch of time to gaming this week because I was super busy. Being an adult sucks, but here’s a breakdown of what I was able to get this week.

Batman: The Enemy Within – 80%

The newest episode of Batman: The Enemy Within dropped this week and I made sure to play it. Since I’m pretty much caught up with my reviews, you don’t have to wait too long to see what I thought about this episode since I’ll have my full review posted on Wednesday.

Batman: The Enemy WithinBatman: The Enemy WithinBatman: The Enemy WithinBatman: The Enemy WithinBatman: The Enemy WithinBatman: The Enemy Within

Doom – 26%

I finally finished this game this week and I have to say that I have absolutely no idea what this game was really about. I have an idea, which was that the demons of hell are unleashed and it’s up to your character to stop them, but I think that’s as far as this game goes. Other than that it’s just a bunch of randomly killing creatures. I am done streaming this game so now I’ll be going back to work on getting the platinum trophy for this game.

DoomDoom

Jeopardy – 95%

This should have been 100% because I played 10 online games and then some, but this trophy for some reason isn’t popping. I’ve completed the main game and feel like I can write a review on it but it’s that last trophy that is stopping me because I feel like I have to get it before I write a review. Anyway, I’m not too happy with this game at the moment because of that glitched trophy.

Jeopardy!

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 – 12%

I picked this game up on sale last week because of my love for Pac-Man and my love for the first game which came out on the PS3 years ago. The first game in this series was actually my first 100% complete game so it’s a little nostalgic for me. This game takes things to a whole other level though as it’s 10x harder, but I’m still enjoying the time I spend playing.

UNO – 42%

It turns out this game is pretty fun and it’s still pretty active online, which is a good thing. I’m enjoying playing this game and have a few more trophies to go before I can finish it. Until then though I’ll keep playing and see how things go. Thanks again to LMD for playing online with me!

UNOUNOUNOUNOUNOUNOUNO

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – 19%

I feel like I could have gotten a lot further in this game this week if it didn’t crash my system. After it did that I basically just said screw this and gave up on it a little. It’s the only game I’ll be streaming next week, so I’ll get back into it, but at the moment I’m a little pissed at it.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

And that was it for the week, a total of 22 trophies. An improvement from last week even though it really doesn’t feel like it. Now for next week, it’ll be more of the same as I try to finish up Assassin’s Creed Origins and Doom. I’ll also be streaming Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus until I’m able to complete the main campaign. While doing all of this I’ll also be trying to get that last damn trophy in Jeopardy, continue to play UNO, and continue to play Pac-Man. A new game doesn’t seem likely this week, but you never know. I’ll let you know how things turn out next week.

This Week in Trophies 01-14-2018 – 01-20-2018

This week was a pretty interesting week trophy wise as I didn’t get many, it seems these days I usually don’t, but I was able to finish a game. I didn’t get the platinum trophy yet, but I am one step closer. I also learned a little bit more about a game that I’ve been playing and started a new game that I bought on sale. Take a look at my trophy breakdown below.

Assassin’s Creed Origins – 57%

I finally finished this games main story! I’m so proud of myself since this is the first Assassin’s Creed that I’ve actually finished since Black Flag. I thought it started off really slow but got more exciting as the game basically ended in this four hour long mission which just blew my mind. It had this bitter sweet ending and showed how the Assassin’s Order was created only raising even more questions than answering. Anyway, I’m eager to see where Assassin’s Creed goes after this and am eager to finish up my remaining trophies and get the platinum for this game.

Assassin's Creed OriginsAssassin's Creed OriginsAssassin's Creed OriginsAssassin's Creed OriginsAssassin's Creed OriginsAssassin's Creed OriginsAssassin's Creed OriginsAssassin's Creed Origins

Cities: Skylines – 7%

I’m slowly getting the hang of this game and am trying to play it while I have some free time. I’m pretty sure that I’m going to have to restart my city though because for some reason no one has any power even though I have a bunch of power plants and stuff. Sigh. Another city ruined under my rulership.

Cities: SkylinesCities: Skylines

Doom – 18%

This game was an absolute pain this week as I basically rage quit one of my streaming sessions. Not my best moment again, but I died over and over again for an hour straight and basically said screw this. I will be going back to this game this upcoming week, and at least I was able to get a trophy out of it.

Doom

Gems of War – 89%

This is one of those games that I play every single day for Guild purposes and it finally paid off because I was able to get a guild trophy which was nice. I’m still stuck playing this game though as I try to get the even more DLC trophies that seem to get added with each update. This game really isn’t as fun as it once was.

Gems of War

UNO – 9%

I picked this game up along with a few others on sale this past week and started playing this weekend. The online portion is filled with sore losers who will quit on you at any moment, but I have to thank LMD who also picked this game up because it was cheap and decided to play with me.

UNOUNO

And that was it, a total of 14 trophies for the week. Not bad and I did finish off Assassin’s Creed Origins, only having to go back for some random trophies now. Other than that, I’m pretty pleased with myself and for the upcoming week I’ll be playing some more Assassin’s Creed Origins, Doom, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, UNO, and the new Episode of Batman: The Enemy Within. I’ll let you know how things turn out next week.

This Week in Trophies 01-07-2018 – 01-13-2018

This was a pretty good week in trophies as I was able to get my first platinum trophy of the year. Kind of late in the year for me, but the way I’ve been going it seems like it’s going to be one of those years. Anyway, I played a bunch of games this week, didn’t really get that many trophies, but at least I got my platinum. Here’s a breakdown of what I did play.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm – 100%

I’ve had this last episode sitting on my PS4 for a little while now since the episode came out last month, but I just never got around to playing it. I finally have and was able to finish it up. I’ll have my full plathrough posted on my YouTube channel shortly and I’ll have my review posted in the next couple of weeks.

Assassin’s Creed Origins – 36%

It’s really unbelievable to me that I’m still playing this game. I’m about 35 hours in and there is still so much to do. I never expected an Assassin’s Creed game to be this long or actually be this interesting. I have to say though that I did wavier a bit and lose some interest in it, but I finally gained back my interest in it this week and I’m really eager to finish up now.

Assassin's Creed OriginsAssassin's Creed Origins

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – 18%

After my little rage quit last week, not my best moment, I finally got back into this game and watched as the story progressed. I was a little pissed that this one sequence, the court room sequence, that I was stuck on turned out to be just a dream sequence and it had me go through all of this stuff before BJ just woke up. Not the greatest Wolfenstein moment for me, but I am liking the way the story is now progressing and it’s at a little bit of a faster pace.

Wolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New Colossus

That was it for the week, a total of 18 trophies including my one platinum. For next week, it’ll be basically more of the same as I’m trying to finish up Doom, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Assassin’s Creed Origins. I’ll probably throw in The Sims 4 somewhere during this time along with Cities: Skylines, but I’m kind of in this mood where I want to finish the games that I’m streaming so that I can start streaming some new games. I’ll let you know how things go next week.

This Week in Trophies 12-31-2017 – 01-06-2017

This was one of those weeks where I feel like I played a lot of games, but really got nothing out of it. It happens from time to time depending on where you are in a game and what you’re doing. It’s not like a trophy pops every so many minutes or hours just because. Anyway, like I said this was one of those weeks, but I did manage to scrounge up some trophies and here they are.

Cities: Skylines – 4%

I purchased this game on sale recently because I noticed someone on my friends list frequently playing this game. You know who you are. And I figured if he was playing it this much, then it must be a fun game so I decided to give it a try. Turns out to be a pretty cool game once you get the hang of it. I was able to get a couple of trophies, but I don’t really have a saved city yet because I keep starting fresh. Apparently I have a budgeting problem that I need to fix before I can run a successful city. Anyway, I’m having fun learning the mechanics of this game.

Cities: SkylinesCities: SkylinesCities: SkylinesCities: Skylines

Doom – 16%

Oh Doom. I really love this game because it has a story, but it’s a sketchy one at best and it’s really about shooting demons so I can just sit back and relax my mind as I play. I also hate this game because it turns out that I’m not that great at it. Surprise. And I die a million times. This is just a simple fact of playing I guess, but I’m still having fun and that’s all that counts.

DOOM

The Sims 4 – 20%

This week I decided to start a new household because my other household was becoming way too hectic. There were like four adults and two toddlers and things were just crazy. I started off with a new two family house before adopting one child and going from there. I was able to get a lot more accomplished this way even though this game is still super glitchy.

The Sims 4The Sims 4The Sims 4

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – 13%

If you watched my last stream of Wolfenstein, then you know that I kind of rage quit at the end of it. Not my greatest moment as I completely got frustrated after a cut scene that just ended with me dying time and time again that I just cut the stream. This doesn’t happen too often and I’m finding this game much more frustrating than Wolfenstein: The New Order. Yes the plot is good for this game and I’m enjoying it, I’m just not enjoying the just about impossible situations that you’re being put in and it’s just like here survive with no health. Also, not to spoil anything but I did get a trophy for taking some revenge and it just didn’t feel all that satisfying as it was interrupted by a weird cut scene.

Wolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New Colossus

A total of 10 trophies to start off my new year. Not that great, but considering my last few weeks not that bad either. I’m hoping to up this number soon so that I can hopefully meet my year end goals. Anyway, for the upcoming week I plan on playing my streaming games which are Doom, Assassin’s Creed Origins and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. I’ll also be playing some more of Cities: Skylines and I really want to try and get that last episode of Life is Strange: Before the Storm in. I’ll let you know how things work out next week.

This Week in Trophies 12-17-2017 – 12-30-2017

This has been a crazy two weeks with being sick and on bed rest, to all the holiday stuff, to some work stuff, it was a surprise that I was even able to get some trophies in and even get one platinum trophy in as well. Let’s get into it and see what I’ve been up to these past two weeks.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – 71%

When I started to feel better this week, I decided to jump back into this game with my buddy mmaddmaxx12 and start getting to that platinum trophy. He was nice enough to power level some of my characters for me and we even went into hardcore mode and played the whole game before I tragically died before hitting level 70. Needless to say, he got the platinum trophy, I didn’t but I’m pretty close so just some more grinding and I’ll be fine.

Diablo III: Reaper of SoulsDiablo III: Reaper of SoulsDiablo III: Reaper of SoulsDiablo III: Reaper of SoulsDiablo III: Reaper of SoulsDiablo III: Reaper of Souls

Doom – 15%

During my last stream of Doom before I got really sick, I was able to get one trophy while dying over and over and over again. I swear that game should have a trophy for dying. Anyway, I’m still enjoying it and am looking forward to getting back into it to play this upcoming week.

Doom

Minecraft: Story Mode – Season 2 – 100%

The final episode of this game was released and I finally was able to play it this week. That also means that I got the platinum trophy for it. My reviews are still a little backed up, but this one is coming soon I promise so you can see what I thought about the final episode.

Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2

And that was it for two weeks. 14 trophies including one platinum trophy. Not my greatest week and it totally sucks being sick. I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy and safe new year though. Good luck to all my gamers out there looking to finish that one game and get that last platinum trophy before midnight tonight. I might or might not be one of those people, but you’ll have to wait and see if I did that next week.

TwitchTwitterYouTube

This Week in Trophies 12-10-2017 – 12-16-2017

I have to say that trophy wise, this week just sucked. I’m playing bunch of games at the moment which isn’t a bad thing, but the trophies are just a little hard to come by at times especially because some of them require a grind, while other games are coming to an end and the trophies are scarce. Not to mention about mid week I came down with a bad case of tonsillitis, which is still pretty much kicking my ass since I’m only on my fourth day of antibiotics. Anyway, take a look below to see what I was actually able to get this week.

Doom – 13%

I’m having a really fun time playing this game even though it takes me forever to get through a zone. There’s a good reason for that. Sometimes I’m lost, sometimes I’m exploring, and a lot of the time I’m dying. I want to thank everyone who watches my streams of Doom and stick around as I die over and over again at the same place. I think this is part of playing a Bethesda game, just dying over and over again no matter what difficultly you play on.

DoomDoomDoomDoomDoomDoom

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – 10%

So I’m also dying a lot when it comes to this game as well, but I’m having an awesome time playing it. This is definitely one of my favorite games that I’ve played this year. The whole game is just action packed and filled with these amazing cut scenes that are this mixture of badass, sickening, and emotional. I don’t know how Bethesda does it with this game, but they do and they do it so well.

Wolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New Colossus

And that was it for this week. A sad 10 trophies. Hopefully next week will be better, but with the holidays coming up I’m not sure that’s going to happen. Anyway, for next week, once I’m better, I plan on streaming again so I’ll be playing Doom, Assassins Creed Origins, and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. I’ll try to get in the final episodes of Minecraft Story Mode: Season 2 and Life is Strange: Before the Storm as well since both of those anticipated final episodes come out next week. Some pretty hefty goals for next week, and I’ll let you know if I was able to accomplish them.

TwitchTwitterYouTube

This Week in Trophies 12-03-2017 – 12-09-2017

This was a pretty light week when it came to trophies and I can only imagine that it’s going to get worse with the holidays right around the corner. Holiday time means less gaming time and less gaming time means less time for getting trophies. Anyway, I did get some trophies this week, so let’s get into it and see what I was able to get.

Assassin’s Creed Origins – 40%

So I’m pretty sure I’m at the final mission for the main game, but I’ve just been running around and trying to level up and get all of the side quests done. I’m still enjoying the game play but I’m waiting for there to be some kind of a huge twist at the end. There has to be right? Anyway, this will stay on this list for a while because I do plan on getting the platinum sometime soon.

Assassin's Creed Origins

Doom – 4%

So it’s been over a year that my friend has been bugging me to play this game. He’s gone on and on about how amazing this game was and even offered to buy it for me because he said I was missing out. I told him that if I could find it on sale that I would get it this holiday sale time and I did and kept my promise. So, turns out my friend was totally right and this game is pretty amazing. I’m having a really fun time getting through the levels and taking down all of the demons in the most gruesome way possible

DOOMDOOMDOOMDOOMDOOM

Jeopardy – 68%

Although I have some mixed feeling about this game, it’s becoming one of those games that is going to take a long time to actually beat especially because the multiplayer is completely dead. If anyone out there is playing, drop me a message and we can play together and get the trophy so that we can both finish this game.

Jeopardy!Jeopardy!

The Sims 4 – 16%

This game is still a glitch and lag fest, yet I can’t get enough of it. It’s The Sims and I’ve loved The Sims since it was first released all those years ago and I used to play it on my PC for hours. Anyway, I’m only playing when I have some down time and trying not to devote to much time to it since it’s a mixture of half of the time I’m having fun and half of the time I’m just waiting for the lag to go away and getting annoyed.

The Sims 4The Sims 4

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – 5%

After playing Wolfenstein: The New Order, you can read my review of that game here, I knew that this was an immediate play for me because I loved The New Order. I’m also loving this game. It’s just amazing in every way and I can’t get enough of it when I’m playing. Sure, I might die 100+ times, but it doesn’t damper my enjoyment of the actual game one bit.

Wolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New ColossusWolfenstein II: The New Colossus

There you have it for the week, a sad 14 trophies. Not a lot, but I’m at the point with Assassin’s Creed Origins that the trophies aren’t coming as quickly as they were before. Doom and Wolfenstein II are still new so the trophies are coming as they come. The Sims 4 and Jeopardy are both tedious and require a lot of attention. Anyway, I’ll be playing all of these games and probably some more this week as I try to make time to game and hopefully stick to my streaming schedule. I’ll let you know how everything went next week.

This Week in Trophies 11-26-2017 – 12-03-2017

This was a pretty good week for trophies considering that I was able to get a total of 24 trophies this week. It’s not a great amount, but it’s not a bad amount either when you consider the fact that one of those trophies was a platinum trophy. Anyway, on with what trophies I was able to get this week.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole – 100%

I finally finished this game this week. Everyone by this time knows that my reviews are backlogged, just like a lot of my games and you won’t be seeing a review for this game for a while, but I swear one is coming. Overall it was an OK experience playing this game but I’ll get into more detail in my review.

South Park: The Fractured But WholeSouth Park: The Fractured But Whole

Assassin’s Creed: Origins – 38%

I’m still have a really fun time playing this game and streaming it any chance I get. Exploring is one of my favorite parts of this game just because I really love the whole setting. The story line of the game is a little iffy at the moment and I’m waiting to see who backstabs who as I approach the final mission of the game. I want to try and get as much done as possible before that happens because I’m not really sure if you can go back and finish up after the game. If anyone knows and can drop me a line in the comments section it would be much appreciated.

Jeopardy – 54%

This was one of my holiday impulse buys. I told myself I would not play another Jeopardy game since I’ve been playing them since the SNES. That didn’t stop me though as I picked up this game and Wheel of Fortune. It’s like an addiction. I will say that this game is a little more boring than the PS3 version and the online section is already dead. If anyone is playing and needs someone to play 10 games in order to get the trophy for that let me know and I’m more than willing to help.

Star Wars Battlefront II – 43%

After finishing the campaign which was a little disappointing, I jumped into the multiplayer for this game this week and found it to be basically the same as the last game with a few differences here and there. It’s the standard multiplayer and I’ll have fun playing it from time to time.

The Sims 4 – 13%

As much as I love this game, it is glitchy as hell and trying to run a household is just a pain in the ass. It’s like seriously if you have more than two people, the whole game has no idea what to do. It’s a complete glitch and lag fest as after a certain point it just stops working. I’m either going to grit my teeth and try and get through it or wait for a new patch.

The Sims 4The Sims 4The Sims 4

And there you have it, my week in trophies. Now for next week, it should be some more of the same with the addition of Doom and Wolfenstein II, which I’ve been eager to play. I’ll try to get some other random games thrown in there for good measure, but we’ll see how the week goes especially with the busy holiday season coming up.
