This Week in Trophies 06-24-2018 – 06-30-2018

This week was just another blah week in my trophy hunting world as it has been for the past couple of weeks actually. Nothing exciting or special happened and I spent a lot of my time playing some mindless games because I have no idea what I want to play game wise and am still in this gaming funk. Anyway, I did manage to score some trophies, so take a look and see what I was able to get.

Citizens of Earth – 19%

Can I tell you how much I absolutely hate this game that gives you no direction on how to go along with your quests, has no sense of what a comprehensive map should look like , or has anything that makes any kind of sense in it? This has to be the worst game that I’ve ever played and I hate that I’m at the point where I don’t care about it anymore and it’s probably going to end up on my list of unfinished games because it’s just so damn annoying.

Fallout Shelter – 28%

On the other hand I am thoroughly enjoying Fallout Shelter, just like I did when I played it on my mobile device and PC. I’m probably spending too much time on this small game, but it is addicting which I guess is a good thing. It’s also one of those mindless games that you don’t have to think about too much when you play which is kind of a bonus at the moment.

There you have it a total of 6 sad little trophies for the week. I just didn’t really have it in me to trophy hunt this week. I tried, especially with Detroit: Become Human, but I think it’s time to put that game down to the side for a little and move on. This week I’m not sure what I’ll be playing except for the fact that I’ll be playing Fallout Shelter. Other than that the week is a mystery although I did just start a new playthrough of an old favorite, Dragon Age II, so I might just spend my week playing that. I’ll let you know how everything goes next week.

This Week in Trophies 06-17-2018 – 06-23-2018

This week was a somewhat decent, somewhat crazy week for me as I tried to get a lot done gaming wise, but I don’t know. Am I losing my trophy hunting ways? At this point I kind of feel like I’m in this funk when it comes to trophy hunting and I think I just have to find my game to get me out of that funk. I don’t know what that is at the moment and it might just be that I have to play a lot of games to find out. Anyway, here’s what I was able to scoop up this week.

Citizens of Earth – 9%

Instead of finishing up Detroit: Become Human and finally get the platinum, I decided to spend most of my day playing this game. I will say that this was a total waste of my time and I should have played something else because now I have this super corny and campy game on my trophy list and I’m going to need to finish it and will probably hate every second of it. Be prepared in the upcoming for me to either finish this game and give it a horrible review or just rage quit.

Detroit: Become Human – 92%

I am so close to the platinum it’s not even funny. I had a huge misstep this week when it came to playing the game that totally pissed me off, but I was able to fix it in a day and all was well. I’m only missing a few trophies, but I’m feeling a little burnt out on the game because it seems like no matter how I play the story still reaches the same pinnacles that it does no matter what. While I can understand why it does this, it just doesn’t really make the game that replayable. Knowing that I have to play at least one more time is kind of putting a damper on that to be honest.

Fallout Shelter – 20%

I’m enjoying my progress in this game and am enjoying actually playing this game now that I can play it on the PS4 and not on my PC where it just decided not to work after a certain time. Hopefully this doesn’t happen with the PS4 version. I enjoy playing this for about 15-20 minutes a day before putting it down and moving on.

Gems of War – 80%

There was another update for this game this week so that means more trophies. More trophies means more time I have to spend with this game. The only reason I continue to play is because of Guild obligations, so if you play and are looking to join a guild that is active and at a decent rank, there are 28 slots open so just let me know. Anyway, this game just isn’t fun anymore and feels like a daily obligation instead of something that I actually want to play.

And there you have it, a total of 12 trophies for the week. I shouldn’t be too upset about this number, but I’m just not happy with it. I just really want to find that game that restores my faith in gaming because as of late I have to be honest it’s dwindling. This is sad and I don’t know if it’s because I’m working a lot or what, but I just know that I need to find that game. I’m open to suggestions so if you want to suggest a really awesome game for me to play in the comments section please feel free to do so. If not I’ll see you next week as I let you know what trophies I was able to get.

This Week in Trophies 06-10-2018 – 06-16-2018

This was an interesting week, but then again, aren’t they all? Anyway, I was able to accomplish one of my goals, which was to complete King Oddball, but I’m still working on Detroit: Become Human because playing through this game again is really taking a long time. Mostly because of my work schedule and partly because I’m trying to play a bunch of other games with it. Anyway, onto my trophies for the week.

Fallout Shelter – 9%

So I kind of called it last week when I said that this game would be released the night of the Bethesda conference and I was right. Since then I’ve been playing this game like crazy, and I didn’t really think that I would spend so much time playing, but I’m having a good time playing so at least that’s a good thing.

King Oddball – 100%

This was one of my goals this week and I’m just glad I was able to accomplish it. I won’t say much about this game right now so you’ll have to wait until Wednesday to see my full review of the game.

Unravel TWO – 10%

I played this game on Sunday and that was basically the last time I played this game. It’s not from lack of not wanting to play it because I do and I love the story that it’s telling, it’s just from the lack of time. I will try to find some more time this week to play as my schedule should return to something of a normal schedule for me.

And there you have it, a total of 10 trophies for this week. Not as impressive as the past few weeks, but at least it’s something. My plan for this week is to continue to work on Detroit: Become Human because I really want that platinum trophy now, try to get in some playtime with Unravel Two, and continue to play Fallout Shelter. I don’t think I’ll play anything new, but you never know and I’ll let you know how things turn out next week.
